Located
in the beautiful, peaceful heart of Mid Devon is this two bedroomed
annexe, adjoining the main farmhouse. Coombe House provides an ideal
base to explore Exmoor, Dartmoor and the scenic North Devon coastline.
There are many National Trust properties and other local attractions to
visit.
The
cottage is set in seven acres of ground which plays host to an
abundance of birds and wildlife, and often red deer, foxes and badgers
can be seen.
The accommodation comprises a fully
fitted kitchen, with all the modern appliances, and dining area. There
is a downstairs WC and also a washer/drier. The lounge with its exposed
beams comes complete with television and video, and a further dining
area. Upstairs is a double and twin bedroom. The recently modernised
bathroom comes complete with bath and shower.
All
the grounds are available for our guests to use. There is a large
picturesque garden comprising the main lawn, a wealth of trees and
shrubs, and a patio area, complete with table and chairs. There are 3
ponds containing koi, brown and rainbow trout and various wild fowl.
There is a summerhouse here which is a lovely place to soak up the
peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.
