HELE BARTON is a traditional working farm set amid the rolling Mid-Devon countyside between Dartmoor & Exmoor. Peaceful and unspoilt, but within easy travelling distance to explore all parts of Devon, coast or moor.

The Gillbard family have farmed here for four generations, a beef and sheep farm where in summer you can watch the binder cut the corn as in the old days.

We offer comfortable friendly accommodation in our listed 17th century farmhouse. We have 2 twin/double bedrooms one of which is ensuite. Both have tea/coffee facilities, washbasins & TV’s. Guests sitting/dining room to watch TV or read. Traditional farmhouse breakfasts set you up for the day, either exploring our lovely county or just relaxing in the garden. The local inn is just a few minutes walk for your evening meal.
