Highdown
Farm is peacefully situated high above the Culm Valley with stunning
views of the surrounding Devon countryside. An ideal base for
exploring every corner of Devon. There is lots to do nearby for all
ages, including Killertonhouse & gardens, Quadworld &
Diggerland. The cathedral city of Exeter is only 10 miles away.
Highdown is an organic dairy farm registered with the Soil
Association. You are welcome to watch the cows being milked and
the calves being fed, explore the surrounding fields which are rich in
fauna and wildlife. Children will love the play area with trampoline,
swings, slide and Wendy house. They can also feed our Pygmy goats
and have a ride on Merlin our Shetland pony.
There are three self catering cottages to choose from. The Old
Farmhouse sleeps up to seven people, is very spacious, ideal for large
families for friends sharing. Poorman's Cot sleeps up to four
people, it is smaller and ideal for a small family or couple. The
Cider Barn sleeps two people and is a cosy retreat. All the cottages a
nicely decorated, well equipped and comfortably furnished, providing
everything you need for a memorable holiday.
