Ratcliffe Farm
Ratcliffe
is a real working farm with 250 acres of sheep, cattle, poultry and
arable. There is a way marked nature trail around the farm. Animals
can be seen out on the fields during summer and housed in barns during
winter.
Honeysuckle End is part of the period farmhouse, which
has been transformed into very spacious accommodation. All the rooms
are large with lots of old cottage character and unusual features.
The Accommodation is centrally heated with three bedrooms
comfortably sleeping six. In the large farmhouse kitchen there is an
oil fired Rayburn for cooking and in the sitting room an open fireplace
with wood burning stove. Outside is a secluded garden with patio and
BBQ.
Ratcliffe Farm is situated in the peaceful Exe Valley,
just six miles from Exeter and less than one mile from the pretty and
historic village of Thorverton.
